In short: your survey answers are anonymous, apart from a few we keep with your email if you choose to join our mailing list from the end of the survey. We only collect your email if you choose to give it, we use it only to tell you about our workshop and future courses, and we never sell or share your details.

Who we are

AI for Therapists is run by Alastair and Katharine. The business behind it is WhaleyBear Ltd, trading as AI for Therapists, and "we" in this notice means WhaleyBear Ltd. You can reach us at info@ai4therapists.co.uk.

WhaleyBear Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 16254997. Registered office: Document Studios, 30 Pennywell Rd, Bristol, BS5 0TH.

If you give us your email

We only collect your email address if you choose to give it, on the waiting-list sign-up page (with a consent tick). You can reach that page from a link we share or from the end of our survey. On the sign-up page we also collect your name if you give it, where you found the sign-up (for example, a link in a newsletter), and whether you finished our survey, so we can honour the 10% discount. If you come from the end of the survey, we also keep a few of your survey answers with your email, as described below.

We use your email to send you emails about the AI for Therapists workshop and future courses, through Kit. We do this because you said we could, by ticking the box. You can unsubscribe at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by emailing us. We send one email asking you to confirm before we add you.

If you answer our survey

Your survey answers are anonymous. The survey doesn't ask for your name or your email. We use the answers to plan this workshop and future courses. Please leave out anything that could identify a client.

If you join the mailing list from the end of the survey, we keep your answers on four things with your email: how interested you are in the next cohort, whether you'd like one-to-one support, which AI tools you already pay for, and how ready you are for the computer setup. We keep only the ones you answered. We use them only to send you information that's relevant to you. Your other answers stay anonymous.

Like most websites, our web host records technical details such as your IP address with each submission.

Who else handles your details

• Kit (kit.com), our email provider, stores our email list, including the survey answers we keep with your email if you join it from the end of the survey, and sends our emails. Kit is based in the United States.
• Netlify, our web host, runs this website and stores survey answers. Netlify may process data outside the UK.
• Stripe (stripe.com), our payment provider, will process payments when booking opens.

We never sell your details or share them with anyone else.

How long we keep your email

We keep your email, and the survey answers kept with it, until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Email info@ai4therapists.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
